Discover the Making of Snapper Rock's Resort '24 Collection

Step behind the scenes with us as we unveil the magic that went into creating Snapper Rock's Resort 2024 Collection. Founded in USA, by Liz a New Zealander, it felt fitting to return to our Kiwi roots for one of the season's two photoshoots, especially as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. Liz and the creative team traveled to the picturesque Mount Maunganui, to capture the essence of our new collection against the stunning backdrop of New Zealand's natural beauty.

For this campaign, we collaborated with well known photographer and videographer from Mount Maunagnui, enriching the authenticity of our shoot. We held a casting call for local babies on Facebook and were overwhelmed by the adorable applications we received. The selection process was so difficult that we ended up doubling the number of babies chosen for the shoot, adding even more cuteness to our Resort '24 campaign. The day began at Tay Street Beach with our toddlers and then on to Main Beach, where the golden sands and gentle waves provided the ideal setting to spotlight our new designs.

The journey continued to Moturiki, or Leisure Island, with shots that framed our models looking across the waters towards the grandeur of Mauao.

As part of our commitment to a greener planet and to coincide with our 20th-year milestone, we're thrilled to announce that our Resort '24 Collection will feature four new sustainable swimwear collections, including the Lighthouse Island collection showcased in the images below. Made from innovative materials like REPREVE® Polyester Yarn, these collections are not just UPF50+ but also eco-conscious. As we expand into new horizons—keeping an eye on the future while honoring our past—this collection embodies the essence of Snapper Rock: fresh, functional, and sustainable.

 

The culmination of months of preparation and passion, our Resort '24 Collection brings Snapper Rock's vision of family-friendly, eco-conscious swimwear to a new pinnacle. With an array of options for the whole family, our latest creations are bound to make a splash when they launch this November.
